The wind started to increase last night and the waves are getting higher
now. We pulled off the main sail in this morning. I am irritated by the hard
punchings again. When I was cooking breakfast, clear beautiful rainbows
showed up.

We celebrated the crossing of the equator with grilled eel and rice
yesterday. Eel is one of the foods that Japanese eat at special occasions.

When waves get high, flying fishes and small squids jump onto the deck. If
they just "jump onto", it is still fine, but flying fishes sometimes "drive
into" the deck. Very dangerous. Also it is not easy to notice them as they
come from a side not the front.
A flying fish as big as a mackerel came on to the deck last night and other
crew kept it for me till the morning as they thought I might eat it. No,
what I want to catch is tuna!

A lot of spray, my face is really salty.
